The Gupta Laboratory is dedicated to unraveling the molecular mechanisms associated with cardiovascular disease and metabolic diseases like obesity, diabetes, and aging. Our lab at Burnett School of Biomedical Sciences and UCF College of Medicine uses basic science knowledge to identify new drug targets and therapeutic molecules for complex human diseases. Our studies use cell cultures, mouse models, macaque models, and clinical samples.
