Accelerate Multidisciplinary neuroscience research in the central Florida region to advance the understanding of the brain and the nervous system and translate the science into applications for the prevention and treatment of related disorders, and the advancement of human learning and performance. Multidisciplinary Neuroscience encompassing cellular, molecular, behavioral, cognitive, social, educational and systems neuroscience, the clinical neuroscience including neurological and psychiatric disorders, psychology, neuroradiology and neuroimaging, neurosurgery, patient care, neuro-rehabilitation and physical therapy, neuro-technology, education and engineering including computational neuroscience, statistics and simulation, biomedical engineering, instructional design, laser/optics and photonics in neuroscience, as well as tissue engineering and nanoscience, and the art and philosophy of neuroscience among other disciplines.
