The Fogarty Global Health Fellowship (FGHF) Consortium provides a new opportunity in global health research training for selected junior faculty, fellows, and scholars. This global health fellowship program is an 11-month mentored clinical research training program for pre- and postdoctoral candidates, and is sponsored by the Fogarty International Center and several of the individual NIH institutes such as the National Cancer Institute and Office of Research for Women’s Health. Based in over 20 years of research and training collaboration, this consortium brings together 17 primary research training sites in Africa (Ghana, Malawi, South Africa, Swaziland, Uganda, Zambia), Asia (Bangladesh, China, India, Thailand) and South America (Argentina, Brazil, Peru).
