Children’s Well-Being Foundation (formerly Children Without Borders) is a non-profit organization that provides life saving medical care to children and preventative health education for families in under-served countries. Children’s Well- Being is a 501 (C) (3) non-profit organization that operates clinics in the barrios of Costa Rica. They have medical internships available to medical students at all levels. They appear to have good supervision and state that they adhere to the AAMC guidelines. Costs range from $950 for 1 week to $3500 for 6 weeks and does not include air fair (usually around $250).
