Arts in Medicine holds a number of events outside of the Annual Showcase and Script.
These Events Include:
Open Mics: Open Mic Knight is a chance to come share talents with our classmates in a laid-back, relaxed setting. Whether you want to shred on the guitar, do a bit of stand-up, spit fire with your rap verses, or just tell a story from your medical school adventure, Open Mic Knight has allowed many to take the stage with their classmates. If you don’t feel like performing, no worries! Come enjoy the talents and delicious treats.
Paint Nights: Seasonal paintings events including Fall pumpkin painting, Spring plant pot painting, and more!
Dance Workshops: Our dance workshops, such as Hip Hop, have been a great way for students to incorporate some movement and de-stress!
Diversity Week: Celebrating the diversity of our COM community by creating a platform for students, faculty, and staff to share their artistic abilities.
Medical Improv: Improve you confidence, communication and leadership in several sessions
Nemours Holiday Performances: Bringing holiday cheer through musical performances for the children and their families.
UCF COM A Cappella Group: “The Flatliners”: These students of all skill and experience level have historically sang at the COM! In the past, this group has previously done performances at the Winter Showcase, Gift of Life ceremony, and hospital performances.
