Absence / Tardiness:

If volunteers know in advance they are unable to attend their shift, they must contact the student volunteer coordinator and/or clinic floor manager and find a replacement volunteer for their shift. If possible, notification and replacement should occur 4 days in advance of the date of the missed shift. It is the responsibility of the student missing the shift to find a replacement and update the clinic roster with their replacement’s name.


In case of an emergency, the volunteer coordinators must be notified of the reason for missing a shift within 24 hours.
