Un estudio sobre el consumo de alcohol y marihuana en jóvenes universitarios de La Paz, Bolivia
BEYOND es un estudio de investigación de la University of Central Florida (UCF) en colaboración con la Universidad Mayor de San Andrés, la Universidad Privada del Valle y la Universidad Católica Boliviana. Buscamos entender cómo y por qué los jóvenes adultos consumen alcohol y marihuana al mismo tiempo, y qué factores personales, familiares y sociales influyen en ese consumo.
Es el primer estudio de este tipo en Bolivia. Lo que aprendamos servirá para diseñar programas de prevención adaptados a la realidad y la cultura de los jóvenes bolivianos.

WAVE Study
Is a clinical research study testing whether a water-soluble form of cannabidiol (CBD) a non-intoxicating compound from the hemp plant can help adults reduce how much they drink and how strongly they crave alcohol.
Participants are randomly assigned to one of three study products (two CBD formulations or a placebo), take the daily study product for eight weeks, and complete brief study visits and check-ins over about 12 weeks.
Participation is voluntary and confidential, all study visits and products are provided at no cost, and you may be compensated for your time.

CannaBev Study: Understanding THC-Infused Beverage Use Among Young Adults a Cross-sectional Study
THC-infused beverages, such as seltzers, sodas, teas, and cocktail-style drinks, are growing in popularity. This national study examines how U.S. adults ages 18–34 use these products and what they understand about THC content, dosage, effects, and potential risks.
Findings will help inform consumer education, public-health messaging, and product-labeling guidance.

Partnership with Tikun Olam
We are building a prospective patient registry in collaboration with Tikun Olam to evaluate the real-world safety, effectiveness, and patient experience of its standardized medical cannabis products. The registry will follow patients over time to generate evidence on symptom outcomes, quality of life, treatment patterns, and safety in routine clinical care.
