You are invited to attend How to Incorporate Health Equity into the Medical Curriculum, part of the UCF College of Medicine Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion’s Professional Development Series. 

Persistent health disparities related to race, ethnicity, culture, and other US minority status necessitates that we, medical educators, critically evaluate how we can better prepare future physicians to care for patients from marginalized communities. Dr. Tracy MacIntosh will provide evidence-based, practical and novel strategies on how to incorporate health equity into your bedside and didactic teaching through this interactive and engaging professional development session. Join the UCF College of Medicine Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (ODEI) on Tuesday, June 29 from 5:15pm-6:00pm for a virtual workshop on time management. Led by the UCF Student Academic Resource Center (SARC), attendees will learn how to prioritize, make effective lists, and become better at multi-tasking and studying. LGBTQI+ Health: Creating Safer Healing Spaces, Improving Access and Eliminating Disparities

Join us for this interactive workshop led by Dr. Jennifer Evans where you will better understand the appropriate language and terminology being used within the LGBTQI+ communities, how to improve access to care and work to eliminate health disparities affecting our patients.
