ODEI CME, Workshops and Trainings

The UCF COM Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion hosts Continuing Medical Education opportunities and professional development workshops. The Continuing Medical Education workshops are held quarterly, open to the community, and credit bearing. Additional trainings and workshops are held throughout the year.

In collaboration with the UCF COM Office of Faculty Development, we provide free Continuous Medical Education (CME) Credit for some of our workshops and trainings. Please visit our Webcourse for more information.

Northwest Diversity Learning Series

The UCF COM Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion sponsors six virtual workshops every year hosted by the Northwest Diversity Learning Series (NWDLS). The NWDLS provides relevant, substantive, thought-leading and cost-effective educational programming on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) for managers and employees with virtual delivery of powerful, impactful and results driven sessions, led by world-class presenters and thought leaders.

Unity Star

The UCF Office of Diversity and Inclusion Training Program is one of the most prolific in higher education. You can pursue certificates and training individually or as a departmental effort to improve performance and our learning and work environments. Safe Zone Series

The UCF Safe Zone Series is delivered through several trainings that include: LGBTQ+ 101, Safe Zone Advocates, Coming Out workshop, and GOLD Knights workshop. Everyone must attend the LGBTQ+ 101 training prior to attending the Safe Zone Advocates training. DEU credits are available for faculty and staff and co-curricular transcript credit through OSI is available for students.
