About Luis A. Mojicar, M.D.
Dr. Luis Mojicar is a board-certified family medicine physician who has been in practice over 18 years. He began his medical career at Universidad Central Del Este in the Dominican Republic and continued on to internship and residency at the University of Florida Health Science Center in Jacksonville, FL. After completing residency, Dr. Mojicar pursued fellowship training in Primary Care and Sports Medicine. His professional history includes positions such as Medical Director/Associate Professor at the University of Florida Shands Jacksonville as well as Medical Director at Disney’s Center for Living Well.
The College of Medicine welcomed Dr. Mojicar as an Associate Professor of Medicine in March of 2016. Dr. Mojicar will be working in partnership with the Osceola Sheriff’s Department as their Primary Care Physician.
Dr. Mojicar is a certified American Association of Medical Review Officer as well as a certified Integrative Medicine Practitioner. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Medicine and the American Medical Association. Dr. Mojicar is fluent in both English and Spanish.
