Biography

Chrissy Walsh is the Academic Program Coordinator for the Aerospace Medicine Program at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine. She manages logistics, communications, and operations to support faculty, students, and collaborators, helping advance the program’s mission to improve human health and performance in aviation, space, and extreme environments.

Chrissy brings 20 years of experience in program coordination, guest services, and nonprofit operations. Prior to joining UCF, she held leadership roles at Walt Disney World Resort and Ronald McDonald House Charities, where she managed high-profile events, supported families in medical crisis, and built collaborative partnerships with healthcare providers and community organizations. She has also led community initiatives as an event chair for the American Cancer Society, a youth sports coach, and a classroom volunteer. Her dedication to service was recognized with the Presidential Bronze Medal for Volunteer Achievement.

She holds a Specialized Graduate Certificate in Arts and Culture with a focus on Outreach and Advocacy from the University of Denver, and a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and Political Science from Jacksonville University. Her background in event planning, community engagement, and crisis support uniquely positions her to foster collaboration and innovation within the Aerospace Medicine team.
