  • Dr. Monroe’s Horses Therapy Program for Veterans earned international accreditation and was featured on Channel 9 News.
  • The United States Public Health Service (USPHS) and the Interprofessional Education Collaborative (IPEC) has selected Harnessing the Strength of Inter-Professional Teams to Provide Comprehensive Care for the Farmworkers of Apopka, Florida to receive the inaugural Excellence in Interprofessional Education Collaboration National Award. Congratulations to Dr. Simms-Cendan and her collaborators as they will be recognized at the June 7, 2017 meeting in Washington, DC.
  • Dr. Rubero received the CORD (Council of Emergency Medicine Residency Directors) Academy for Scholarship in Education in Emergency Medicine Academy Membership Award in the category of Education Leadership. He was presented the award at the 2017 CORD Academic Assembly in Fort Lauderdale, FL on April 27.
