White Coat Ceremony

Monday, July 31, 2023 

The College of Medicine will host this year’s ceremony, for the Class of 2027, in the Pegasus Ballroom located on the University of Central Florida’s main campus.  The ceremony is a medical school tradition where students are coated by the Dean and recognized as colleagues in healthcare – our future Physician Knights.  UCF holds White Coat on the first day of class for first-year students.

Tickets

Tickets are not required for the white coat ceremony; however, all guests must be pre-registered by the participating student through the Greenvelope Invite sent to their email address.

Welcome The New M.D. Class

The White Coat Ceremony marks the first moment of a medical student’s journey to become a doctor.

You can help to make this special for a Class of 2027 medical student by sponsoring their white coat of stethoscope.  Join us in welcoming those about to embark on a tremendous journey.

There are several sponsorship levels are available:

• A $100 gift to sponsor a new medical student’s white coat
• A $150 gift to sponsor a new medical student’s stethoscope
• A $250 gift to sponsor a white coat and stethoscope for one (1) student
• A $500 gift to sponsor a white coat and stethoscope for two (2) students
• A $1,000 gift to sponsor a white coat and stethoscope for four (4) students, which provides support at the President’s Circle level
• A $2,500 gift to sponsor a white coat and stethoscope for ten (10) students, which provides support at the President’s Circle level
