About Pegasus Health

The University of Central Florida College of Medicine is launching UCF Pegasus Health, the college’s new faculty clinical practice. Here, physicians who are training the next generation of doctors will bring their expertise and state-of-the-art patient care to community residents.

Pegasus Health will focus on primary care, including internal medicine, family practice and geriatric medicine with an emphasis on prevention, wellness and care management. It will expand into additional specialties to meet community needs. Pegasus Health is committed to evidence-based medicine and using the latest in innovation and technology to provide ever higher standards of patient quality and safety. An on-site CLIA/CAP-accredited lab, including advanced molecular testing, and radiology services begin a continuum of services convenient for patients.

Pegasus Health will be located in a completely renovated 22,000-square-foot facility at 3400 Quadrangle Boulevard, on the corner of University and Quadrangle Boulevards, about a block from the UCF campus. The medical center will also house the college’s Regional Extension Center (REC) health information technology initiative, which assists local primary care physicians in adopting electronic health records.

UCF Pegasus Health will accept most insurance programs. Physicians will work on a flexible, rotating schedule and receive competitive benefits, including malpractice coverage.
