Florida helped create the UCF College of Medicine, through lobbying, letter-writing, volunteering and generous donations. So it is fitting that the college is giving back through education, research, patient care and service.
The new UCF Health Sciences Campus is part of Orlando’s burgeoning medical city at Lake Nona. This life sciences cluster is expected to transform the Central Florida economy and by 2017 to create more than 30,000 jobs and have a projected annual economic impact of $7.6 billion.
