College of Medicine

UCF College of Medicine is set to become the nation’s premier medical school born in this century. As a new medical school, the college will offer leadership opportunities and financial support to students in the Charter Class that are not available at any other medical school. UCF’s M.D. Program allows students to prepare for careers in every discipline of medicine and to focus on an individualized area of study or research.

In addition to the individualized program, the basic sciences are integrated with the clinical sciences where each student can choose to train in many of the major specialty hospitals in the Orlando area. Training in both mock and live patient situations will be part of the program from day one.

The UCF College of Medicine consists of the M.D. Program and academic degrees within the Burnett School of Biomedical Sciences (BSBS). For information and admissions to Ph.D., Masters, and Bachelor ’s degree programs offered by the BSBS, please visit www.biomed.ucf.edu.
